Venus (金星 Kinboshi) is the hottest planet in the Solar System and the second closest planet to the sun. It is named after the Roman goddess of love, Venus, and one of the 12 Dii Consentes within the ancient Roman pantheon. The planet's symbol is ♀.
Venus is also known as the Morning Star, the Evening Star, and the "sister planet" of Earth.
