Tomokazu Fukumoto (福本智和 Fukumoto Tomokazu) is a minor character who appears in Fairytale Pretty Cure!. He is the older brother of Tomoka Fukumoto and the younger brother of Toshihiro Fukumoto. Two years prior to the start of the series, Tomokazu was disowned by his father, Moriki Fukumoto, for going against his wishes to pursue his love of music.
Appearance[]
Tomokazu has a pale complexion with dark brown hair swept over to one side and buzzcut on the other. He has notches on his thick eyebrows and three piercings on his left ear. He has indigo-coloured eyes. He wears a black leather jacket, grey dress shirt with a dark shirt tank top underneath, ripped jeans, and sneakers.
In a flashback, it is shown that Tomokazu use to have unkept, overgrown bangs and oversized glasses.
Personality[]
Tomokazu is the black sheep of the family. He is very easygoing and loves making others smile. Despite being passionate about his music, he still holds a grudge towards himself for abandoning Tomoka after he fought with his father and wishes that he was mature enough to fix his mistakes.
Relationships[]
Tomoka Fukumoto - Tomokazu cares deeply about his younger sister and were very close when they were little kids. He affectionately calling him "Moka-chan" and loves to tease her. Tomokazu worries about Tomoka's safety and it shown when tries to save her after they got attacked by an Endingu.
Toshihiro Fukumoto - Tomokazu cares deeply about his older brother and were close when they were little kids. He affectionately calling him "Hiro-oniisan" and loves to tease him. Toshihiro puts his younger sibling's safety over his own, this is especially shown when he pushed Tomokazu out of the way from Linda and became an Endingu instead of his brother.
Moriki Fukumoto - Tomokazu was disowned by his father for wishing to pursue music instead of following in his footsteps and becoming a doctor. By Episode 27, all though they don't totally see eye-to-eye, Moriki apologizes to Tomokazu and he accepts, beginning to repair their relationship.
Etymology[]
Tomokazu: (智) means "wisdom" and (和) means "melody", which reflects his love for music
