The Pinceau (パッソー, Passō^?) is a magical item appearing in Sky Pretty Cure: The Tale of Carmine. Cure Carmine was granted the Pinceau in order to save Cardinal Rouge Kiraimée, the crown princess of the himawari palace. With the Pinceau, Cure Carmine gets the ability to use stronger attacks.

Appearance and Abilities

The Pinceau reminds of a powerful wand used by magicians. It is slightly taller than Cure Carmine. The staff of the Pinceau is silver colored and displays some dark blue details, like swirls and clovers. The stand of the wand consits of a diamond-shaped (playing card symbol) crystal, that is pink colored and a golden ring around it. The top of the wand resembles a black paintbrush and is connected to the staff by a golden ring around it.

The Pinceau allows Cure Carmine to channel the power of glitter more powerful. When she uses attacks, the rings around the wand usually start to glow in bright colors. The primary power of the wand is to allow Cure Carmine to use more powerful attacks, like Perfect Sunset. Another power the wand holds is to let Cure Carmine create shields in order to protect herself or the ones in danger.

• The Pinceau is the first item in the Sky Pretty Cure Series to be a paintbrush. However, it is later followed by the Cure Paintbrushes of the Sky Pretty Cure Generations.
