Heartbeat Pretty Cure! Mirage Beat! is the sequel to Heartbeat Pretty Cure! created by Cure Believe.
Plot[]
It has only been a few months ever since the world had been protected from evil thanks to the Heartbeat Pretty Cure, but a new evil called "Darkness" is going to try and suck all the light of the world away! The Heartbeat Cures undergo an upgrade so their Heartbeat upgrade will be their main form, and, along with the reincarnated Heartbreak Blooming, now known as Heart Symphony, will fight Darkness to save the light of the world!

Sakura Haretsu (桜 破裂 Sakura Haretsu?)
Haretsu is the lead Cure like the previous season. Ever since she learned about her past, she has worked changing herself by becoming a guest star on cooking shows and is often called "Retsu-san". She can transform into Cure Blooming (キュアブルーミング Kyua Burūmingu?), the Cure of miracles. Haretsu used to be Cure Blossom Mirage (キュアブロッサムミラージュ Kyua Burossamu Miraaju?).
Jinsokuna Mizu (迅速な 水 Jinsokuna Mizu?)
Mizu has recently become friends with her fashion idol, Kurumi Momoka. Ever since she learned about her past, she has taken larger steps to becoming a true fashion model so she can make up what she was like in her past. She can transform into Cure Ocean (キュアオーシャン Kyua Ōshan?), the Cure of passion. Mizu used to be Cure Marine Mirage (キュアマリンミラージュ Kyua Marin Miraaju?).
Noboru Taiyō (昇る 太陽 Noboru Taiyō?)
Taiyō is the former student council president at the middle school, but has given her role to her friend Tomodachi. Ever since she learned about her past, she has tried various sports, not only martial arts, but has found herself stuck deciding which she likes most. She can transform into Cure Shine (キュアシャイン Kyua Shain?), the Cure of light. Taiyō used to be Cure Sunshine Mirage (キュアサンシャインミラージュ Kyua Sanshain Miraaju?).
Yoru Migaki (夜 磨き Yoru Migaki?)
Migaki is the popular idol "Gaki". Ever since she learned about her past, she has worked much harder on her song meanings and has gained more fans in the process, as well as her good friends liking her more. She can transform into Cure Twilight (キュアトワイライト Kyua Towairaito?), the Cure of love. Migaki used to be Cure Moonlight Mirage (キュアムーンライトミラージュ Kyua Muunraito Miraaju?).
Mirai Tomodachi (未来 友だち Mirai Tomodachi?)
Tomodachi is the former Heartbreak Shine, but has turned to the good side. She recently became a main part of the team after hearing of another ally who she admires. She can transform into Cure Spark (キュアスパーク Kyua Supāku?), the Cure of change.
Kikoku Ai (帰国 愛 Kikoku Ai?)
Ai is the reincarnation of Heartbreak Blooming, but has known this ever since her birth. She met Tomodachi and learned that Tomodachi is a Pretty Cure and, in the process, learned she herself is an ally to the Heartbeat team. She can transform into Heart Symphony (ハートシンフォニー Hāto Shinfonī?), with her power coming from the love of light.
